the two sides

Ever thought of the two sides of life? if yes, you must be enjoying this precious life else you might be wondering, what am I up to? Even from the very coin to the half-filled water bottle, you will come across with two thoughts, yes, a thought. Head can make you win some time and tails lose when you flip a coin, in the same way, a half-filled bottle is for someone more than enough when he is thirsty, and for other not enough to drink and in the same way we have our life at every instance which we come across in our daily routine.

Let's talk about life, yes I know what you’re thinking, “who are you to tell us what life is? and how to live it?”, no doubt you’ve asked the right question, but I may be the one from most of us.

So why don’t you just take a deep dive into the past and see yourself when you were born with expectations. Expectations of being the scholar of your school, grabbing the best opportunity in this world and get happily married with one or two kid. So, what's your current status? in school prepping for being a scholar, or doing labour for grabbing the best job during your last year college days? whatever it may be, I hope you do well, but ever thought of your side of life? Yes, your side of life, maybe your side of life is grabbing this job, but I’m sure not for most of us. Your side maybe being an artist like a music composer, a dancer, an entrepreneur in the age no one ever thought of, a social worker and so on. Simple question, are you up to for your side?, I can hear the whisper with a no, why is it so hard to even accept? because “acceptance is hard” or “acceptance can risk your current work-life balance”, which is actually nothing but a fake truth which you love to tell yourself every single day?

I am not sure after how many months I am continuing my writing on this article from this particular line, because yes accepting a few things is very hard when it comes to real not reel. But, I am not sure you’re foodie enough, you don’t have to be when it comes to taste the outcomes of an acceptance.

I would love to take the current situation as an example of what we have missed and what still we can achieve. We know we are dealing with Covid19 and you know well how small the virus is and how large its impact. Most of the countries are dealing with a situation of lockdown. If I tell you what lockdown is, its being where you are, at home, PG’s, stuck at a hotel in simple words, stay where you are. I won't be talking about the Covid19 here, the news or the media is doing their job in the best possible manner they can. I want your attention here into this article, have your ever thought of something this big will happen one day? I assume your answer to be a “No”. Now just circle back your self into a little past of yours before this Covid19 situation and think of what you’ve missed and what you could have done, think of the bucket list you’ve created but never checked a single one from it because you just kept of thinking to do it later and the later never came. And now think of your self while being into this situation, thinking, “as soon as the lockdown gets over, I will do this and that” but this time your thinking seems very definite and not the one where you postpone things because now you are realising the importance of every second life was and is giving to us. Its the thought process which has now changed a lot, people are doing what they never use to do generally, I’m not sure how many of us have started cooking and that too of a level, being at home they are being so creative and whatnot. We are still being so productive even when staying just at home. Not stepping out but home. This is the second side of us, the side where positivity comes with full energy, the side where is no looking back, the side where you come even more close to your loved ones, the side where you have started making the strongest of the plans, the side where you are looking this life as the precious gift you’ve ever received for which you are acknowledging it and admiring it to keep it safe.

“it’s precious, I’ve earned it” — the other side of me

It was never to tell you what life is all about, its always about how we are looking it, living it and loving it — the 3 L’s

Last but not the least, a request or an appeal to “Stay home, stay safe”, we will fight with the pandemic situation and come across to the new beginning.
